Privacy policy

Farpy uses your email to identify your account and send account messages. A session cookie keeps you signed in. Farpy records IP addresses and basic request activity for site operations and abuse prevention.

Sign in with Google

If you choose Google sign-in, Google sends Farpy your verified email address and a Google account identifier. Farpy stores those details in its account database to create, connect, and recognize your account. It does not store Google access tokens or use Google sign-in to read your Gmail, contacts, or files.

Farpy uses that Google data for account access. It does not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it for advertising.

What other members can see

Signed-in members can see your profile, follows, and posts you share with everyone on Farpy. Friends-only posts and stories are visible to accepted friends. Public groups appear in the directory, hidden groups are invite only, and group posts are visible to group members. Online status is optional and can be turned off in Privacy settings.
